Mixing Ratios

• Clearcoat (D8131) to Hardener (D8254) is typically mixed at a 2:1 ratio by volume.
• Optionally, a thinner can be added depending on the application conditions (often up to 10%).

Application

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is properly cleaned, sanded, and free of dust, oils, and other contaminants.
2. Mixing: Combine the D8131 and D8254 according to the 2:1 ratio. Stir thoroughly to ensure even consistency.
3. Spraying: Apply the mixed product in 2-3 coats , allowing about 5-10 minutes flash-off time between coats. Use a spray gun with a nozzle size of about 1.2-1.3 mm .
4. Drying: Allow the final coat to cure. This can range from overnight at ambient temperature to about 30 minutes at 60°C in a bake booth .
