The Sealey ER1700P Polisher Kit is a versatile, professional tool that works well in combination with the Farecla G3 Premium and G3 Wax, along with polishing pads. Here’s how you can effectively use each component to achieve a great finish:

1. Preparation

• Wash and Dry: Before polishing, make sure the vehicle's surface is clean and dry. Any dirt or dust could create scratches during the polishing process.
• Masking: Use masking tape on areas you don’t want polished, like rubber trims and plastic edges, to prevent damage or polish residue build-up.

2. Polishing with Farecla G3 Premium

• Polish Pad Selection: Use a medium or soft polishing pad (white or yellow, typically) on the Sealey ER1700P for applying the G3 Premium polish.
• Apply Polish: Add a small amount of G3 Premium polish to the pad (a few pea-sized drops should be enough for a small area).
• Start Polishing:
  • Set the polisher at a low speed initially to spread the product evenly. The Sealey ER1700P has variable speed, so start at a lower RPM (around 1,200-1,500 RPM) to avoid splatter.
  • Increase the speed gradually to about 2,000 RPM, working in a crosshatch pattern (up and down, then side to side) to ensure even coverage.
  • Apply light to moderate pressure, letting the machine and polish do the work rather than forcing it.
• Buffing: After working the polish in, use a clean microfiber towel to buff off any residue, revealing a smooth, polished surface.

3. Applying G3 Wax

• Wax Pad Selection: Switch to a softer finishing pad if available.
• Wax Application:
  • Apply a thin layer of G3 Wax to the pad, and use a lower RPM (1,000-1,200) to spread it over the polished surface.
  • Work in small sections, ensuring even coverage.
  • Allow the wax to haze over (typically 5-10 minutes).
• Buffing Off: Use a clean microfiber cloth to buff off the wax, which enhances the shine and provides a layer of protection to the paint.

4. Pad Care and Maintenance

• After use, clean the pads immediately to remove product build-up, prolonging their lifespan.
